VCNOffice has been working with a
key US West Coast VC, from Menlo Park, in closing a USD $50 MM
Matching Round in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore, with both Private
LPs, Institutional Investors and Fund/Funds. As US Funding Sources
dwindles, North Asia is proving to be a fertile ground for Venture
Funding, as the dot.com bubble did not had as big a impact as
was in the States.
This has included LP Funding Strategy
Development, CIO Localization, Marketing Programs & Roadshows
across Major Cities in North Asia.

Netcom/SI in evaluating 802.11 a/b ChipSets, May 2002
VCNOffice has been assisting China
Netcom Corporation and associated SI in the evaluation and acquisition
of 802.11 a/b Chipsets for planned Wireless LAN deployment in
China.
This has included potential vendor
search, product & portfolio analysis, acquisition strategy
development, organzied visits to the prospective vendors in Silicon
Valley and the May '02 InterOp.Networld in Las Vagas.

Alumni Association Beijing Event, May 21,2002
Professor Gao Xi-Qing, Vice Chairman,
China Securities Regulatory Commission (Current Vice Chairman,
China Investment Company (CIC)), presented to the Stanford Business
School Alumni Association, Beijing Chapter on 'Globalization
and Compliance with International Standards of China's Securities
Market' on May 21st, 2002. This event was organized by
George Cheung, Reisner's Chairman & CEO, who is also the Vice
President of the Stanford Business School Alumni Association,
Beijing Chapter.
Professor. Gao gave a forthright
and excellent presentation. He discussed the many improvements
made and also covered the unique challenges that China faces.
It was the best presentation yet the Beijing Alumni had received
in the 'View From The Top' Series.

Dr. John Li, former-Head, Technical Strategy Board, Digitial
China Corporation joins VCNOffice as Advisory Board Member, May
2002
Dr. John Li, former-Head of Operations,
Technical Strategy Board, joined VCNOffice as an Advisory Board
Member. Previously, Dr. Li has held various senior high-level
positions in the Legend Group and Digital China - General Manager,
Department of Business Development, Co-Director, Group Operations
Management, Legend Group; and General Manager, German Branch,
Legend Group Germany. Dr. Li has also been the Chief Secretary
of Chairman Liu Chuan Zhi Office.
Dr Li has a Bachelor degree, Electronics
Department, Science and Technology University China, and is a
Doctor of Engineering (Ph. D.), on Structure born Sound, from
the Technical University of Berlin, Germany.
John speaks fluent German and is
an avid gardener.
Australian Embassy Dinner, Stanford Business School Beijing
Chapter Event, Oct. 2001
On behalf of Stanford Business School
Alumni Association, Beijing Chapter, VCNOffice Corporation organized
a major event with the Australian Ambassador to China, Mongolia
& North Korea, Mr. David Irvine, at his Beijing Embassy Residence
and presented on "Australia/China Economic Co-operation &
Opportunities" Other Alumni from Wharton, Princeton, Harvard,
MIT & Yale also participated in the event.
Stanford University, one of the most
prestigious universities in U.S., is always proud of its outstanding
graduates. Together with the alumni from other universities, they
are all in their fruitful process of the promotion of trade in
China; they are part of the backbone of international business
in Beijing. Australia is one of the key international trade key
partners of China, and will generate more business opportunities
especially when China enters into WTO.
"Either Australia or China,
both of us have realized that we are becoming more and more important
for each other, and we will take action to boost the process",
Ambassador Irvine said. "We will foster cooperation in wide
range from Agriculture to IT industry. Therefore, it is time to
put our hands together to enhance the bilateral relationship,
