Traditionally, Upstream Seismic Exploration works involves the Recording of Huge Volumes of Seismic Data that is stored in Field Data Storage Devices that needs to be transported from the Acreage, back to the Local Head Office, then Upload/Transported back to High Performance Research Centers in Beijing for 4D Seismic Image Processing.
Due the 'long timing lag', these data ends up stored in huge databanks and many was not processed in time for 'productive' use..

VCNOffice is assisting
a Fortune US 100 Information Technology Firm in offering 'Advanced Digital Oilfield Solutions', utilizing State of the Art Satcom/WiMax/WIFI Solutions so that these Seismic Data can be transmitted in real time back to the High Performance Research Centers back in Beijing for 'Real-Time Processing'.

Part of the Advanced Solution is a Multi-Functional Communications PDA Device, which also have significant Security benefits as the Remotely Located Field Units (Deserts, Jungles, Offshore Rigs), will have access to Advanced Communications Equipments that allows them to be 'Alerted' in Real Time to any 'Threats', thus taking counter-measures or to execute a fast evacuation.

The 1st Stage of the 'Advanced Digital Oilfield' Solution will be implemented in 2011, within China. The 2nd Stage will be deployed in high-risk countries in the Middle East.

Sherry was invited by the Australia Asia Socirty to attend the 'Asia Pacific New Leaders Forum' in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Forum was organized by the US, Australian and Inodnesian Government to further communications amongst Potential Leaders across the Asia Pacific. US President Barak Obama welcomed all Delegates to the Forum via a Welcome Letter read by the US Ambassador to Indonesia, Cameron R. Hume.

Vice Mayor, Lu Hao, is in charge of Industry and Commerce, and is regarded as one of the younger generation of Chinese Leaders. Lu serves as a member of the CPC Beijing Committee, Secretary of the CPC Beijing Committee's Industry Work Committee and Director General of the Beijing Economic Commission. Vice Mayor Lu was credited with 'Revitalizing' the Beijing Textile Shareholding Group Company Limited, when he was a director of the Board and Deputy General Manager. Lu earned a master's degree in national economic planning and management from Beijing University.

It is a great honor to have Vice Mayor Lu in presenting to the Swiss Chamber, Beijing.

VCNOffice Chairman, Sherry Zhang, met with Virginian Governor, Mark Warner, during the Virginian Trade Mission's visit to Beijing. Sherry have further met with Virginian State Department Officials to explore ways of bringing Virginian Business and Technology to the China Market. Although Virginia has major telecommunications, infrastructure, industrial and foodstuffs products, there has been comparatively small success in China, comparing to West Coast States.

Governor Warner is interested in exploring innovative ways to bring more Virginian business to China and to encourage 2 way Virginian/China trade.


VCNOffice completed Major Strategy Development Assignment for a Houston-based Technology-Only Oil Exploration Seismic Solutions Company, March 2004


The Houston firm has been getting major revenue flow from China, but have came under competitive pressure from a European firm, via the formation of Local JVs and with Local manufacturing.

VCNOffice had developed a comprehensive Fact-Finding Visit for the Senior Executive Team(COO, 2 SVPs and 3 VPs) to meet with Customers/Prospects (Board Level, both State Firms and Multinationals), Influencers (Trade Associations-Universities-Seismic Bureau-Geological/Petroleum Institutes), Key Government Regulators-Policy Maker s(Local and Federal), Key Industrial Parks and Oil Fields Operators.

VCNOffice further presented a 'China 101 Business Environment Seminar' to the Executive Team and then developed an Operational Plan to revamp the firm's presence in China, which included the expansion/restructuring of various business functions and 'Feet on the Ground' market reach. This was adopted by the Senior Management Team as part of their 2004/2005 China Operational Plan.

VCNOffice has been working with Leading US Project Consulting Group to raise One Billion+ USD Funds for Major Urban Re-developments for Tianjin's HaiHe River Front Project, September 2003

VCNOffice has provided 'regional economic, city investment conditions and financing options' project expertise to a US Project Consulting Group that is raising a massive fund for the Re-Development of Urban Areas of Tianjin's HaiHe River Front Project. It is expected to be one of the major project in China for the next few years, with subsequent even bigger phases to follows. The Tianjin Mayor is Dai Xianglong, who has been the Governor of the People's Bank of China.
